Great news today. B1B Bomber aircraft arrived home today in Palmdale Ca. Aircraft number 26 of 100 arrived just after 11:00 am.to begin Major Modification. The aircraft was assembled by members of Local 887 in Mid 1980’s and again will be begin modification by our high skilled workforce working at The Boeing facility at Palmdale. It has been a long and hard process to have Boeing and the Air force commit to having our members perform the work. I know our members at the Palmdale Facilitate are up for this task and will have the UAW’s complete support.
